Hi! If you are reading this means that you landed in Handscape and I am very glad you did! Welcome!
My name is Raquel Francia. I grew up in Zaragoza, Spain, and currently live and work in Barcelona with the love of my life and three funny cats. I studied journalism, and spent the earliest part of my adult life working in the journalism field. Since that time, I’ve lived and worked in Belgium, Sicily, and Spain, and done everything from working at radio stations to managing a small business.
My creative side has always loudly and patient followed me but I experienced a true and full aperture when I quit my first big job. Something was burning inside me. After spending a full year in Sicily figuring things out, I started knitting and since then I have not stop. Fiber has become the greatest passion of mine. The action of love, patience and creation fulfill me in ways I have never thought.
I knew already I had my tendencies but since I start making the majority of my day about the creative and the tactile of making in a daily basis I started to understand ( I think) what real creative restlessness was, I discover the word procrastinate and experience the word satisfaction at another level. I am very much interested on how other creative minds deal with the process, how your daily day looks like.
With Handscape podcast I want to hear stories about creative minds and its creative processes, your routines, projects and dreams.
Tell me how crazy, beautifully frustrating YOUR creative process is!
